|Through its 100% owned operating subsidiary Aspire Minerals Pty Ltd, and its Ivorian subsidiaries, Apollo holds rights to exploration permits in northern and central Côte d’Ivoire. The exploration package includes over 1,000 square kilometres of under-explored Birimian greenstone belts in one of the least explored terrains of the West African goldfields.
Apollo has exploration rights over the promising Seguela Project, and two permit applications at Korhogo, located along strike from the operating Tongon gold mine of Randgold.
In Burkina Faso the Company has rights to two granted permits in the Poura district, each with undrilled gold anomalism in soils and artisanal gold workings.
Apollo is progressing projects through applying geochemical exploration techniques developed in Australia, where the geology and regolith conditions are very similar.
The Company also has a set of advanced and greenfield gold and nickel exploration properties in Western Australia, including the Rebecca project in the prolific Eastern Goldfields that returned results to 42m @ 7.75g/t Au during 2012.
